For our horror film we have chose to appeal our film opening to the 2 quadrants under 25 so both female and male. This is because via our research, newer horror films are being more commonly watched by the younger audiences.
From my research I have come to a conclusion that my 'Alternative Teens' who are into rock music, and slightly niche hobbies so to speak are a huge portion of the audience who watch horror films. One example of groups that would fit into this are the 'Hard-core' who are intrigued and interested in horror and dark tales. This is why I will target under 25 male and females as well as they can relate to the situations so to speak and the main characters.
